About

Ara Youn is a Korean-born, British-based artist with a boundless artistic journey.

Her artistic journey began in the world of textile art, where she mastered the delicate balance between colours and emotions. This foundation led her to graphic design and fashion. She seamlessly integrated all her experiences with cultural nuances, launching a womenswear label that caught the eye of The Times.

After exploring these diverse artistic avenues, Ara found her deepest connection in painting. Light is the central theme of her paintings, bringing visual interest and enchanting beauty to the material world we live in.

Ara holds a Master’s degree in Graphic Design from the University of the Arts London and has studied Textile Design and fine art in Korea.
